the towns in the north of Martinique
Precheur
We haven't really done much in Precheur, except we tried a small local road leading up to Mount Pelee, hoping we could find a better base than the Aileron trail. However, about half way up our car started overheating so we turned around and spent the rest of the day on a black beach just north of the town. There we were temporarily joined by a small cat.
It was fairly dark when we got to the beach.

We visited the remaining three towns on our way back from the second trip to Mount Pelee.
