Florida Keys
Highway 1
(highway one is a 100 miles long string that ties the keys together)
Bahia Honda Key - the bridge
(Bahia Honda Key is one of the least inhabited and most scenic keys
you can best see it from the elevated platform of the Old Bahia Honda bridge
especially the nearby Calusa Beach)
Bahia Honda Key - the Sandspur beach
(some beaches in the keys slope so gently that you can wade
100 yards into the ocean and still be only knee deep in the water))
Key Largo
(we saved Key Largo for our last day although it is the entry point to the Keys.
It is famous for its Key Lime pie which you can get at just about any eatery.
The movie "African Queen" was shot here and you can still see the boat at a small marina.
And of course there is "John Pennecamp Coral Reef State Park" where you can go snorkeling
or just explore the local fauna on one of the nature trails)
