Johnson Canyon
(a hike through the Johnson Canyon to the Upper Falls and on to the Inkpots)
the first leg of the johnson canyon trail is mostly a catwalk over the johnson creek
soon you reach the lower falls...
where you can tunnel through to get better view
these are the upper falls
the trail then continues steeply up to the inkpots
inkpots are small pools known for their turquoise waters
here we turned and followed the johnson creek back to the parking lot
the creek has many unnamed waterfalls along the way
if you come too late, you may have to wait in line - so get up early
